SUNDAY - MAY 09 - 2004

Battle Productions in Germany is putting together a MANILLA ROAD tribute CD. Anyone interested in participating should contact Andreas Neuderth immediately. Some of the groups already participating include Stygian Shore, Iron Sword and Seduction.

MONSTER RECORDS is going to release another album of MANILLA ROAD rarities! This time it is pre-Invasion material that hasn't been heard anywhere in 25 years! Songs on the release include " Life's So Hard", "Dream of Peace", "Chromaphobia", "Pentacle of Truth" and "Herman Hill.

Mark Shelton and company are hoping to get back into their own Midgard Studios very soon to start work on a brand new CD for the IRON GLORY label. Mark says that this new album will be a pure concept release with long epic songs!

It appears that Greek label, Cult Metal Classics, will be releasing the "Invasion" and "Metal" reissues rather than Iron Glory.

TUESDAY - DECEMBER 02 - 2003
MANILLA ROAD have a new line-up! The new bass player is Harvey Patrick and the new drummer is Cory Christner. Harvey is the brother of Bryan "Hellroadie" Patrick.

The vinyl release also contains a B&W 11"x17" poster of the original line-up!

 FRIDAY - JANUARY 31 - 2003

This is whats happening so far in the year 2003. Shark is working on a acoustic guitar album with Andy(from Circus Maximus)that will have several different local musicians on it. This is NOT a Manilla album, but I beleive the Manilla fans will like it. He is recording it at his studio.
Mark Anderson(bass) and I (drums) are working on a album to be released in 2003. This is with our other band Grand Facade. We were both in this band before Manilla and released a cd in 2000 called "Fields of Thought". The music is really nothing like Manilla Road or for that matter any other band on the planet. We mix Metal, Progressive, Death, Jazz, Acoustic guitar and what ever else we feel like. I do all the recording and the artwork from my home and self release.
As well as the above 2 projects, we have begun working on songs for a new Manilla Road release as well which we should have finished up by the end of the year(maybe).
Thats about all the news I have for now. We are being contacted by some people overseas about some shows, when I get more info I will let you know.
Thanks
Scott Peters
